THE
H&S
sTORY
H&S Heat Treating, began life during the 1960’s as a small commercial heat treating operation in Welland Ontario. In a few short years H&S outgrew its Welland facility and commenced relocation to Port Robinson, which is now the site of our main operations and head office.
In 2013 IMT, which was a key account for H&S, acquired the company and began to implement plans for growing and expanding the business.
Services were expanded and upgraded to meet ever increasing metallurgical and quality demands of rapidly expanding manufacturing industries in Eastern Canada and North Eastern USA.
H&S has grown with the customers it served and in some cases took over their “in-house” heat treating requirements completely.
H&S has a long-standing history of high quality. Rigid testing, inspection procedures and SPC techniques are employed throughout H&S operations. This ensures adherence to customer specifications and consistently high levels of product quality and performance were ensured.
H&S is currently certified to both ISO 9001:2008, and ISO/TS 16949:2009.
H&S has continued to add capacity and automation to meet the ongoing demanding needs of it’s customers. H&S’s Port Robinson facility has grown to well over 100,000 square feet and continues to grow each and every year.
